You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that the Father may give you whatever you ask Him in My name. – John 15:16 (NIV)

There is enough negativity in and around our lives that if we stop and stare at it too long it could consume our hope. But I know that even in tragic situations God delivers new hope, new life, and new favor everyday. Our Father chose us and fights for us and with us even though we are not aware He is there.

Negativity limits our life, and limits our growth. There is no benefit in focusing on the wrongs in life. We are in a fallen world, but we are not of this world. Jesus says in Luke 11:12 “He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed (Holy) be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” This one part of the prayer, which we often take for granted yet it is so powerful, for we as chosen believers should seek, should long for, should believe beyond a shadow of doubt that the power of heaven is in us and that Gods will for His chosen, shall be done and He shall help us overcome every problem we may face.

We need to choose God as He chose us, that we can be the light of the world spreading the “Good News” producing lasting fruit everywhere we go.

Father, help us to represent you better as your chosen people in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Expect God to open your eyes to see only His beauty today!
